Trip notes

Is it right for your kids?

Trailarea Turracher Höhe is a family-minded park: it pairs a long blue Kornock Flowtrail (where jumps are optional and waves are rollable) with a base-station kids' zone of a pump track, Mini Skill Trail and Nocky's Kids Loop. With two on-site bike schools renting gear and offering coaching, it's a reasonable choice for families easing kids onto lift-served flow. Note that the shorter ÜWI Flowtrail is rated red (intermediate), not a beginner line, and the operator doesn't publish a firm minimum age — check directly with the bike schools before booking.

Trails to know

Kornock Flowtrail

Kornock Flowtrail

· ~5.6 km

The main top-to-bottom descent — rollable or jumpable waves, berms and wooden bridges; jumps are optional, so confident kids on blue flow can ride it top to bottom.

ÜWI Flowtrail

ÜWI Flowtrail

· ~0.5 km

Short flow line near the base; the operator's trail list rates it red (intermediate), not a beginner line — there is also a separate black ÜWI Jumptrail, so check which one you're on.

Nocky's Kids Loop

Nocky's Kids Loop

· Not found

Part of the base Kornock Kids and practice area alongside the Mini Skill Trail and a small pump track — for the youngest, pre-lift riders. No difficulty rating or length is published.

Good to know for parents

Kids' and practice area sits right at the Kornock valley station: Mini Skill Trail, Nocky's Kids Loop and a small pump track to build balance and confidence before the lift.
Two bike schools on site (Husky's Bike School and Intersport Brandstätter) offer coaching and rent bikes/equipment; ask them directly about beginner and kids coaching.
The Kornock Flowtrail is the main descent, rated blue with rollable/optional jumps, so it suits kids comfortable on blue flow; the ÜWI Flowtrail is rated red and the Zirben, Smuggler's, ÜWI Jumptrail and Tea House lines are harder/separate trails you can skip.
Trail Area opening date for 2026 is 20 June; the data lists a June–October season, but a firm closing date was not published — confirm lift operating days before travelling.
A specific minimum age and kids-specific rental-bike sizing were not stated on the operator pages reviewed — call or email the bike schools (+43 4275 8392-0) to confirm child bike sizes and any age limit before you book.
