Is it right for your kids?

Szczyrk is built as a serious enduro destination — six gondola- and chairlift-served trails over 16 km, with blue as the easiest grade and no green nursery run at all. It can work for a capable, bike-handling kid who already rides confidently on blue flow, but it isn't a gentle first bike-park: there are no kids' rental bikes and no magic-carpet skills loop. Bring your child's own bike, hire the pads, and treat the two blue Hip Hop lines as the family terrain.

Good to know for parents

•Easiest trails are blue, not green — even the gentlest line (Hip Hop Air 2.0) is a smoothed flow run, so it suits confident, bike-handling kids rather than absolute beginners.
•The on-site Trek Test Centre rental lists only adult bikes (Fuel EX, Slash, Session) — bring your child's own bike, as kids' models are not in the published fleet.
•Helmets (MTB or full-face) and knee/elbow pads are rentable; a full safety set (helmet + knee/elbow pads) is 100 zł/day.
•Bike trainings (individual, group, 2-day) are offered with the resort's instructors; no published minimum age, so confirm child suitability when booking.
•Base station (Salmopolska 53B) has free parking, bike wash, toilet and the Grill & Chill Bar, plus the Kuflonka restaurant up top at Hala Skrzyczeńska.
