Is it right for your kids?

Willingen is best known as a World-Cup downhill venue, but underneath the racing pedigree it's a surprisingly welcoming place for families. The operator's FAQ says the Übungsparcours can be ridden from age 6 under supervision and the Flow Trail from age 8 (in company, with some prior experience), the Flow Country and Flow Trail are rated easy with fully rollable obstacles, and an on-site bike school plus full rental gear means you can turn up empty-handed. If your child is confident on a bike and you stick to the easy flow lines, it works — just respect that the rest of the mountain is serious terrain.
