Is it right for your kids?

Green Hill near Schmallenberg is a young, jump-and-flow park with a Canadian-style vibe, free lift rides for kids through age 7 and discounted kids' tickets for ages 8–15. It runs kids' courses with Rock my Trail and hires kids' bikes plus helmets and protectors, but parents should know there is no magic-carpet skills area and even the green "Moose Cruise" rewards a little berm experience — so it suits confident, already-riding kids more than complete first-timers.

Good to know for parents

•Kids through age 7 ride the lift free with age proof; ages 8–15 get a discounted children's lift pass and must show valid ID in person — and all riders under 16 must carry a signed parental consent form.
•Lift is an easyLOOP drag lift (bike hooks behind the fork via the EasyLoop system), not a chair or gondola; on the left line you hook yourself in, on the right the team hooks you in. Adapters for downhill forks are available at the workshop.
•No dedicated magic-carpet skills area, but there is a practice course (Übungsparcours) in the valley aimed at young/beginner riders (exact length and layout not published).
•Helmets, chest/back protectors and knee/elbow pads are rentable on site (POC), and rental bikes include VPACE kids' models (24"/26"/27.5"); pre-book via the website date-picker and collect at the workshop with your confirmation and ID.
•Kids' courses run with Rock my Trail (private courses available for under-10s); season is roughly March–November and weather/opening-hours-dependent, so check the site before driving.
