Is it right for your kids?

If your kids already ride, Nauders is a strong family base: the Goldbike Park's conveyor-belt practice area on the Bergkastel plateau is a thorough beginner setup, and it feeds into genuinely easy green lines like the Zirm-, Bergkastel- and Goldseetrail. Just remember the wider "3 Länder" network is an enduro arena that also includes intermediate and technical trails, so stick to the green layer with younger or first-time riders.

Flow trail (opened 2024) whose main blue line is described as easy and rollable for all riders; a separate red slopestyle jumpline runs alongside for those wanting jumps. A short cable car returns riders to the top for repeat laps.

Good to know for parents

•The Goldbike Park kids' area sits at 2,200 m on the Bergkastel plateau with a conveyor belt; using the conveyor belt with your own bike is free, so first-time riders can lap without a chairlift.
•Rental at BIWAK Dreiländersports covers balance bikes with helmet (~€10/hr) and children's bikes with helmet and protectors (~€15/hr) — protection is bundled into the kids' hire.
•Three bike schools operate in the region (Rock my Trail, PEAK3, Südtirol Bike) offering technique training and beginner courses.
•There are practice parcours and pumptracks at two locations in the region, so you don't have to commit to a long descent to ride.
•Child day lift pass is around €19 (vs €38 adult); lifts run roughly 9:00–16:30, with hours varying by individual cable car, so check the day's open lifts before planning a route.
